Hard Disk Toast

This is a discussion on Hard Drive toast. My computer thinks the faulty hard drive is the primary drive and will not boot from my good hard drive. My COA is 5 sets of 5 digits Windows 7 Starter SNPC OA. If that choice is offered there is a slight loss in quality when choosing single-layer but you save hard drive space.

I can't say for SSDs, but for normal SATA drives, XP has difficulty recognising them, (well, it doesn't recognise them), so unless your systems BIOS has settings that recognises SATA, you Just don't get another Toshiba.
