HELP!!!! I didn't have it set to delete cookies (though I just cleared them out a few minutes ago in case that helped in some way). Also please delete my comment if I provided any information that I shouldn't have made public here. :) Step 1 - The problem is there: Account sign-in details are out of i've tried deleting all the chrome folders/files out of ~/Library/Application Support and all other chrome related folders/files on the drive, reinstalled chrome, tried downloading a different version of chrome (dev channel). I'm then prompted to click the Restore button to reopen the tabs that were active when Chrome last closed.Who's got the time to figure out what's causing the browser to hiccup AR January 23, 2013 at 3:27 pm I had the same problem as many of you...

Eventually, Chrome's failure-to-relaunch message would resurface.As W.C. After repeated attempts one finally "stuck." So I considered my problem solved. If you want to use those things portably without having to sync it all to Google, you have to use a different browser. It will happen every few days.I tried manually updating the filters everyday to see if it was a problem with the filter updates but it made no difference I don't know

up vote 2 down vote favorite 1 Sometimes Google Chrome resets its settings. I've never had this problem before in all my years of using Chrome and I've had a 64 bit computer for as long. When I quit and run Chrome now, it keeps me logged in to my various websites (as well as to Chrome itself).

Lo and behold, the websites started auto-filling my log-ins, recognizing me without my having to manually perform a sign-in for every site.
