Patrick, First of all, I would suggest you to check your drive in the device manager. I realised after more googling a deep scan overnight might get more data. all of them with Windows 7, both 32 and 64 bits. I manually delete nothing on that.

  1. It has the windows logo on it.

I tried the option usb update and it's taking long time. No sounds, no Auto-Play pop-ups, the drive might not even appears in Device Manager. When I go into device management I do not see any error messages.
